Anton Tscherne: Today we are at the LingTong Electronic Co., Ltd,In Haining China. We are here today to interview the managing director Mr. Ling Yue.

I believe you studied overseas, could you tell us where you studied?

Ling Yue: I studied at Essex University in United Kingdom for four years and majored in Business management.

Anton Tscherne: Can you tell us about Haining LingTong Electronic Co. Ltd such as:

- when was it started

- how big is it

- what products do you make

Ling Yue: Haining LingTong Electronic Co., Ltd is involved in scientific research, development, production and sales of power transformers built with soft magnetic ferrite materials.

In our production we have various kinds of LH series using high permeabile ferrite materials and LP series using manganese zinc ferrite material power. We produce about 10000 tons a year.

Anton Tscherne: I understand that the material is mnzn ferrite

Ling Yue: Yes

Anton Tscherne: Can you tell us about your products?

Ling Yue: Our main products are:

EE series, EI series, EP series, ET series, PQ series, RM series, UV series, T series.

We have nine series in total with more than 360 varieties of products. We produce all kinds of models of inductance transformers

Anton Tscherne: Where are your products used?

Ling Yue: Our products are widely used in all kinds of electronic ballasts, power transformers, power supply filters, etc. We are also expanding into products for applications in communications products.

Anton Tscherne: What is the size of your factory?

Ling Yue: We have two big factories and have a total cover area of more than 200 acres. We also have staff of1257 employees. There are 487 professional and technical personnel.

We also established a municipal product research and development center, product testing and inspection center.

Anton Tscherne: Have you received any accreditation from the state government?

Ling Yue: Yes, in 2006, our company was named by the department of Zhejiang province as al high and new technology enterprise.

Anton Tscherne: Do the company have any International certificates?

Ling Yue: Yes. ISO 14001 and ISO 9001

Anton Tscherne: What other business aspects are you working on?

Ling Yue: We are paying much attention to trademark protection and to strengthen our brand..In October 2007, the company registered the trademark "LingTong" of success, and was registered into the enterprise intellectual property management system.

Anton Tscherne: What are your company philosophy and quality views?

Ling Yue: The spirit of our company is that quality comes first. It is important to produce “high-quality” products in order to realize products with zero defects. Our goal is to monitor the whole process of quality control. For each link in the process we establish a documented control procedure. This is the root characteristic of the quality management system. This all-round whole process control ensures stabile quality products.
