Zhang Jianlong: Eighteen years.

Host： How big is your factory in Jiashan?

Zhang Jianlong: They have two factories. One of the factory when it was originally built it was small. Now it developed into 15,000 square meters in area. That is 25 Chinese Mu.

Host： OK. How many machines do you have?

Zhang Jianlong: They have two different machines. Fifteen Punch press , and ten sets of screw machines.

Host： Ok. How many employees do you have?

Zhang Jianlong: Seventy five。

Host：Seventy five? That’s very good. That’s a mid-sized company.

Host：Are there any benefits to be in Jiashan?

Zhang Jianlong: Jiashan is very near to Shanghai. It’s about an hour and half to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou. It is in the Pearl River Delta Triangle.

Host：Yeah，it’s an triangle. That’s right. Between Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang, Shanghai.

Host：Alright. In your factory do you have any standards that you use for quality like ISO standards.

Zhang Jianlong: They have already got a ISO9000 certificate in 2003. And now, they are producing more higher standard products.

Zhang Jianlong: For the military industry. They have very high standards.

Host： Yes， yes。

Host：What materials do you use mostly for your products? Materials.

Zhang Jianlong: So the material is depend on the different kinds of products. For some general stamped parts， we use general material。 For some hardened washers，we use the hardened materials, high-end products, of course high-end materials.

Host：Could we see some of your products or could explain some of your products?

Zhang Jianlong: They have three main different products , washers， stamped parts and stainless steel screws

Host：What is your best-selling product?

Zhang Jianlong: There are the two most popular products sold to America: Washers and stainless steel screws.

Zhang Jianlong: OK. Over there, on the tables , the products?

Zhang Jianlong: Yes.

Host： Good， Could you show us one?

Zhang Jianlong: Here is a hardened one。

Zhang Jianlong: This is made of stainless steel.

Zhang Jianlong: This is only sold to the Japanese market

Zhang Jianlong: His is only sold to the American market.

Zhang Jianlong: These stamped parts are mainly sold to the European Union countries.

Host：European，Ok. Does he have to do any European Standards for the Europeans?

Zhang Jianlong: There is no general standards for the stamped parts. Because they’re used in some special places. Customers have different requirements. So we produce the stamped parts according to customers’ requirements

Zhang Jianlong: We meet the anti-dumping regulations when selling washers and screws in European countries. So we almost stop selling these two products to European countries.

Zhang Jianlong: But there are still some our regular customers which we enjoyed a really good relationship with, they designate us as their provider. So we still provide the products specially for them.

Host： Does he sell a lot in China domestically too?

Zhang Jianlong: Only occupies 10% of the market.

Host：Oh， only 10%，really. So 90% is export.

Zhang Jianlong: among this 90% ,there is 70% of these is sold to the America and Canada.

Zhang Jianlong: 15% to 20% is sold to Japan.

Zhang Jianlong: No， we come to this every year.

Host： Oh， every year. You went every year.

Zhang Jianlong: They continue attending the Las Vegas show for seven years.

Zhang Jianlong: This year we will attend too.

Host： A question about your industry. Is your industry getting harder, is it harder to do business?

Zhang Jianlong: It depends on the different point of views of different people. If they attend this show, they got more customers, they will think ‘oh this industry is developing’. And if they lose the customer, they think it’s harder.
