Interviewee: I am Zhai Zhenlei (son of ink) born in 1962 in Confucius ' hometown, Jining City, Shandong. In 1981 I graduated from the painting Department of Qufu Normal University. In 1981-1987 I worked in the arts in Qufu city as a professional painter. In 1988 I graduated from Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy Correspondence University, taught by the teachers: Chao, Gao Guanhua, Liang Shunian, Huang Runhua, Wang Baochun etc.

Anton Tscherne: Can you please tell us what you are doing now?

Interviewee: I truly love this great art and culture. From my heart I wish for Chinese art and culture to create a better future, for top written Chinese history of art culture. I am trying not just to make a lot of money but most of the time to show a dignity, a duty, a mission to make life, become independent, more colorful, seems the pursuit of material wealth, but in pursuit of personal growth.
